While oiling a friend’s scalp, filmmaker Gulzar seeks to understand their gender amidst their familial and cultural wishes.

With child-like curiosities, A KIN SIN questions what it means to indulge in the things one normally would be reprimanded for. With a kick for rebellion yet fated for shame and guilt, the 16mm short documentary carefully listens to the joys and aches that come with gender exploration.
